What we doWhy NEMIAContact Info

New England Medical Insurance Agency, LLC (NEMIA) is a full service employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm. It is the culmination of a 22 year evolution within the employee benefits industry. It has been built on countless hours of working with employers to determine what products and services they need and want, then providing the services to fulfill those needs.

#1 Plan Design: Each year, every company reviews their benefits program. This takes place 2-3 months before the actual renewal, but many times a mid year comprehensive review of a company's employee benefit plan can be the key to good planning. Without the time constraints of a renewal deadline, employee surveys and plan design spreadsheets can be used as evaluation tools. These tools can be used to see if the company's existing plan is meeting the needs of the employees at a fiscally responsible cost.
#2 IMPLEMENTATION: A mid year review is the best time to look at the procedures and internal practices that have been set up to cover the employer's compliance responsibilities in connection with COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and termination policy compliance. Implementing a defined set of up-to-date procedures before a situation arises could protect the company from unnecessary liability.
#3 COMMUNICATION: Making sure your employees understand their benefits and rights is of prime concern. Many of the state mandated laws and regulations that govern healthcare plans are left up to the employer to communicate to their employees. Penalties and open-ended liability could exist if the communication link is broken. In most instances, the communication link is the only evidence you have to prove that you have complied with the letter and spirit of the law.
#4 ON-GOING SERVICE: Having a professional service staff dedicated to your needs will be the greatest benefit of working with New England Medical Insurance Agency, LLC. Helping you and your employees navigate through the often complex world of employee benefits will allow you to look at your benefit plan in a new light. Our ongoing commitment to exceptional service will truly take the burden out of your benefit plan.

An entire book could be written on each of the four topics above, and for the most part, New England Medical wrote the book. We are constantly watching the marketplace for you, communicating all the pertinent information on plan designs, pricing trends, legislative changes, and carrier communications though the use of our newsletter, broadcast faxes, and monthly calls to each client.

The best testament to our commitment to you and to building a long-term relationship is that of companies who know first hand the services we provide. How we get paid for our services.....

As your servicing broker, we would receive this fee for the services outlined above. If you are not currently using a broker or your current broker is not performing all the services that we do, we believe you are not getting what you are paying for. At New England Medical Insurance Agency, LLC, we earn our fee through exceptional service and by making your benefit program easy to administer and cost effective.
